Step into a mysterious room filled with locked boxes... each with its own secrets, hidden mechanisms, and clever puzzles. Behind secret doors, you’ll discover surprising challenges that require teamwork, keen insight, and a healthy dose of perseverance.
Each Black Box combines mechanics with clever technological surprises. What seems simple at first glance turns out to be an ingenious interplay of logic, creativity, and teamwork.
In teams of 2 to 5 players, you try to open as many boxes as possible within the time limit. This concept incorporates the best elements of an escape room, but with one major difference: you play an escape room just once, whereas here you can enjoy up to 7 hours of fun and challenges.
The clock is ticking. The tension is building.

How does it work?
Black Box Battle is a unique, immersive puzzle experience in Ghent.
THINK AS A TEAM: Divide your group into teams of 2 to 5 players and get ready for an intense challenge. Against your friends or strangers...
CRACK THE BOXES: Work together to open as many boxes as possible within the time limit. There are a total of 19 different boxes. Each box contains unique puzzles, locks, codes, mechanisms, and one surprise after another.
SCOREBOARD & COMPETITION: Each team competes for the highest score on the central scoreboard.
DURATION: Opening one box takes an average of 15 to 25 minutes, depending on how fast and clever your team is 😉. You reserve a 50- or 75-minute time slot.
FOR WHOM: Suitable for anyone (ages 14 and up) who loves excitement, teamwork, and fun!

Unlock all Black Boxes
With 19 different Black Boxes, spread across our locations in Ghent and Hasselt, no two Black Box Battles are ever the same.
During a single session, teams can usually open 3 to 5 boxes, depending on your skills, teamwork, and the chosen playtime. That means there are still plenty of challenges left… and therefore more than enough reason to come back and play again!
After your session, you'll receive a Black Box Battle card, on which you can mark which boxes you've already opened.
To keep the game fresh and challenging, we regularly rotate the boxes between Ghent and Hasselt. This keeps each location full of surprises and gives you the chance to eventually discover all 19 Black Boxes.
